How we can help: More SMS credits for all UpLaunch users

In this moment of fear and uncertainty communication is more important than ever.

Running a small gym in your community looked completely different 14 days ago, and will likely look different again in a month or two. The key to succeeding during this challenging time is remaining open-minded to new models of service delivery and being willing to test those models as the situation evolves.

At UpLaunch we understand a key element of delivering your coaching and expertise without a physical location is text messaging (along with emails, phone calls, video conferences, and more).

Realizing that communication is now the foundation of your business, we are making the following change, effective immediately:

We are increasing the SMS credits for all UpLaunch accounts in the U.S. and Canada from 1,000 credits to 2,000 credits through May 2020. (A normal text message costs one credit and a multimedia text message costs three credits.)

In addition to that major change, here's what else we did this week to make sure you can communicate with your members quickly and easily:

  • Shifted the entire engineering team’s focus into performance improvements, stability improvements, and preparing for increased capacity to ensure that the Broadcast Center is rock solid.
  • We are working like crazy on the revised broadcast center, including MMS capabilities. This is almost ready, and will hit your accounts as soon as physically possible. As soon as we finish preparing for increased capacity, we’re again shifting 100% focus to getting that in your hands as quickly as possible.
  • Our customer success team has been working double time to ensure that we’re available for you -- whether you need us to pause automated communications to your members, answer questions about how to best leverage technology to achieve your goals, or maybe even just to ask a general question, know that we are here for you. We want to help.

We know exactly what you're going through. About half our team owns a gym in their home community in addition to their role at UpLaunch. We're in this fight with you, and we're doing everything we can to make sure we get through this together.
